Ryan Goes to the MTCThis week we drove up to Utah to take Ryan to the MTC. We said good-bye for the next 2 years. We will miss him, but we are happy for his mission. We also saw a bunch of family and friends.
Brandon and I drove up seperate and stayed a few extra days to visit friends that we haven't seen in a while.
It was so hot in Utah and driving through the desert it was like 110! Too hot for me!
We went up to Layton and stayed the night with my best friend Melissa.
Then, we stayed in Provo with Jordan and Jessica and saw some more friends. Brandon and I took a fun drive through Provo Canyon, up to Sundance and through the beautiful snow capped mountains.The next day, Jordan and Jessica took us off-roading up American Fork Canyon. It was a very bumpy ride! But totally gorgeous. There were lots of waterfalls and pretty rivers and streams from all the melting snow. That night, there was a crazy lightening & hail storm that entertained us.
It was a good trip, but man are we glad to be back to our San Diego weather and our bed (no more air mattresses!)
