Girl's Camp
Last week I spent 4 days up at Big Bear Lake camping with the young women in my ward. Some would argue that it wasn't real camping since we had cabins, a kitchen, and bathrooms, but I felt like I was camping. We went for a hike through the forest, swam in the lake, had campfires (mmm, smores!), slept on bunkbeds with sleeping bags, and went "all naturale" (no makeup, few showers, & grubby clothes). Brandon even came up one night as one of the priesthood and played his guitar to our camp songs.
It was fun! I got to hang out and become better friends with the girls and leaders. We cooked some killer meals and enjoyed nature. I was ready to come home and sleep in my nice bed again.
