Mormon?

Funny story: Brandon is going to do an internship this fall with a local filmmaker. They are going to be working on a documentary about Mitt Romney, a Mormon who is considering running for the presidency. The film will focus on many of the misconceptions people have about Mormons as well as explore their influence in politics. Brandon was explaining to a guy in his class about his internship and telling him that he'll be doing some research for the project and the guy's reaction was funny. He said, "Well, what ever you do, don't join the Mormon church, they'll never let you leave." Brandon just laughed because the guy just proved his point with his own misconception of the church. Brandon didn't want to embarrass the guy in front of everyone & say, "I am Mormon", but I told him he should have said, "Too late, I'm already stuck."
Another kinda funny story: In my institute class the other day we were talking about service & my teacher said that she saw a newspaper article during the Hurricane Katrina disaster about organizations that provided the most aid & support. The article said that the 2 most involved & helpful groups were the Latter-day Saints & the Mormons. :)
