The Stomach Flu Stinks!

The past 3 days have been pretty miserable, it started Wednesday morning with Dean waking up with his crib covered in his dinner. I just happened to have a doctor's appt. that afternoon, but the doctor wasn't concerned, "We'll just call that a one time throw up incident" and proceeded to give him his 1 year shots and send us on our way. He was acting pretty normal and happy despite the upset stomach. Little did I know, Dean was contagious. Unfortunately that night I woke up at 1am and spent the next 10 hrs. throwing up more than once every hour! I can't even believe it now. I thought I was going to either die or at least pass out. Brandon was up with me ready to take me to Urgent care, but we all know what a useless and unpleasant trip that would have been so I waited it out. We called my mom who had just flown in to come help with Dean. She and Steve willingly came and took care of him while I slept a little. Then, Dean started up again, poor baby, he wouldn't eat and went through lots of diapers and clothes. I was so bummed we missed my family's Christmas celebration. Brandon's mom came to help when Brandon had to go to work. Thankfully we both stopped vomitting and started recovering yesterday, but this morning Brandon's mom and my mom called to say that they got it too! Urgh! And to top it off, now Brandon is fighting it as well. I feel so bad that everyone got it, but somehow their bodies are handling it better than mine did. I am sad that Dean has had to deal with this flu right after having Hand Foot and Mouth, so we've been stuck at home a lot. I am just hoping we can all be well for Christmas. And I really hope we don't give it to anyone else.
