Longest Month Ever!
And it's not even over yet. We've been staying busy with the usual... house projects, work, school, going to the hospital. Oh wait. It's wasn't too bad though. Dean says every other day or so, "I want to go back to the hospital, I liked it there. " Dang, now I can't use that as a threat anymore.

Long story short, Dean got sick and his lymph node swelled up and he couldn't turn his head so the doctors wanted to watch him closely to make sure the infection in his throat didn't turn into an abscess or block his airway. Fortunately they gave him antibiotics which did the job and they didn't need to do surgery. And after 4 boring days in the hospital, he got to come home and is back to normal. We feel fortunate that we caught it early and he wasn't in much pain. We were all fighting this cold/flu for weeks and now it is finally gone.
Brandon spent a weekend cleaning out the hot tub that came with the house. It is actually really nice, I finally went in it last night and it was relaxing.

Dean went on his first school field trip to the Safari Park. He was running in the front of the group with his teacher the whole time, super excited. (I know this is not a picture from the Safari Park, but I didn't get any good ones there, but we also went to the zoo and they posed so well for me.)

We had a perfect day at the beach in January. Dean wanted to ride his new surfboard, but the water was way too cold, but he liked pretending.

Brandon borrowed a drumset from my cousins and has been practicing almost every day. The kids like it, Dalila dances every time she hears it.

Dean has been a big help to Brandon working in the yard. He really wanted to help mow the lawn

And Dalila likes to help too. She is such a sweet, happy baby we are so glad we have her. She is talking, climbing, running and eating a lot these days.

This weekend, Brandon built the kids a playset that we got on craigslist a long time ago. Dean was so excited he said, "I love my new playset, thank you Daddy!" Too bad he only got to slide a few times before it started raining.

And here is just a random cute picture I took last night. I am glad we have lots of family close by.
