Happy Birthday Dalila and Brandon... and Dean?
We celebrated Brandon's 31st and Dalila's 2nd bdays with the family at Brandon's parent's house.

Grandma Shawna has been our #1 babysitter and Dalila learned to say, "Shawna" recently.
Thanks to Grandma Marie, Dalila got her own rocking horse. She was very excited she even gave it a kiss.
Nana came to town and had not seen Dalila since she was born so it was fun for them to get to know each other a little.
Shark!! At Dalila's birthday party my sister asked Dean, "so, what do you want for your birthday?" and Dean said, "oh, I know, I want a slip n' slide with dragons that spit fire at you" She laughed and said, "I'll see what I can do." Well, she found something pretty close. A 3-D shark bite slip n' slide. She gave it to him 3 months early because she thought it may not be hot in November. He was so excited he wanted to hold it in his carseat with him on the drive home last night and then first thing this morning he begged me to open it.
So, we had a "slip n' slide day" Dean called it with his cousin Tristan, Aunt April, Uncle Richard, Nana and Granddad Larry watching. It was so fun to watch the kids run and slide and have a great time. Dalila wasn't so sure, so she ran and then crawled through the shark's mouth. We are so lucky to have perfect weather and a nice yard to play in. I can't believe summer is almost over. It's been a year since we bought our house and I still can't believe we have a house and am so grateful. I hope the kids realize how lucky and loved they are. These past couple months have been the best times I've had being a mother. I really enjoyed Dean at age 2 and Dalila is just as fun.
