Sunflower seeds
Dean, my dad and I cut the sunflowers off before the birds ate all of our sunflower seeds. Those flowers were huge! I had to climb a ladder and cut them off and then let them fall like 8 feet because they were too heavy to hold. My dad caught a few of them and helped Dean pick out the seeds.
I roasted the first batch today and I'm excited to eat them. Unfortunately, there are seeds in only half of them. Dean is having fun trying to eat them.
Also, our green beans were ready to be harvested last week. Too bad I'm not a big fan, but Dalila and Dean ate them and it's fun to pick them with Dean.
I am waiting on my avacado tree to produce and we've got some pumpkin, watermelon and cantelope on it's way. I can't wait!
